Maze

Maze is a project and a studio album presenting the compositions of guitarist Tomáš Skalský (Zajíc) from bossa nova to groove. The album was recorded by great musicians and by long distant Brazilian singer Fabrízio Gloria who will participate in the concert via projection.

As time went by I have accumulated loads of musical ideas. I chose the best and the doable ones and after that I've got a goulash of music of various genres. Because of the different musical styles I have decided to get two rhythm sections – bossa section and groove section. I gathered 12 musicians active in Brno, gave them the sheet music and instructions and we started sending each other lots of messages on fb and finally in spring 2019 we met at the recording studio Orlí and now, after having finished the last audio editing and master we are getting ready for the gig.
