Bachtale Apsa music band which formed around well-known musician Mário Bihári three years ago belongs to our best Roma ensembles. The title Bachtale Apsa - translated as Tears of Joy - implies a diversity of moods and emotions, which the Roma music awakens in its listeners ever before.

Music of this band includes influences from all traditional Roma styles. We can find origins of Balkan, Hungarian, Spanish, Russian and Slovak Roma people in it. Not even so-called sinti jazz compositions or the classic csardas are missing. Marvellous vocals, brilliant musician's performance and thrilling rhythm are the main virtues that enable this band to be considered the Roma classic - in the best sense of the word.

The basis of this band is created by virtuosic accordion and piano play of blind virtuos Mário Bihári. He is accompanied by guitar player and also a great singer Petr Horváth. Bass player Adam Pospisil proves himself as a really universal musician in this band. His co-operation with the drummer and percussionist Standa Vít - comprises a precise rhythmic basis of the band. In addition, music of Bachtale Apsa is supplemented with typical vocals in which also rhythm section members take part.
