Concert of baroque music and poetry by Ukrainian authors
At the Ukrainian Baroque concert, the Musica Poetica ensemble will present music and poetry as performed during the Baroque period in the Eastern part of Europe. Works by authors from Ukraine will also be performed by the OctOpus vocal ensemble with the Musica Poetica ensemble. The program will feature the choral work of Maxim Berezovský and Dmytro Bortňanský, which is also represented in the program by vocal-instrumental chamber compositions. Igor Dostálek will recite the poetry of Hryhorij Skovoroda - the Ukrainian "Socrates", poet and philosopher.
