Songs of Russian Romanticism
The name of P. I. Tchaikovsky is probably all connected with his opera or the famous piano concert b-minor, but this representative of late romanticism is also the author of a number of beautiful songs with typical Russian indolence and spirited melodies. So is the famous pianist and composer Sergey Rachmaninov. Another of the song recitals of soloists of the Janacek Opera NdB this season will belong to their song production performed by mezzo-soprano Veronika Hajnová-Fialová and pianist Galina Aleshkevich. Their guest will be conductor Robert Kružík, this time as a violoncellist.
The recital is held on 7 March 2019 in the Crystal Hall at the Old Town Hall.
