The group originated from the Pilsen scene of the 1980s as a successor to the band Zastávka Mileč, and had its first public performance on November 26, 1986 at the university club OKO in Pilsen. It started as a group influenced by punk simplicity, but from the first recordings it included songs belonging to other musical styles in its repertoire. Znouzecnost is a band with a punk reputation and the ability to write a pop song as well as a folk ballad.
