Ondřej Kyas is straddled between composing contemporary "serious" music and working in rock bands (currently Květy and Mucha). He also records and releases his solo records ("Solárium" by Polí5 publishing house from 2019). Introverted bedroom pop with lyrics mixing the mundane with surreal images? A meeting between Thom York and Oldřich Janota on a frozen field near Ponětovice? Or at the local supermarket? Or on the train, with a view of the industrial zone? Or at two in the morning in the park over long-lost notes on an unwritten generational novel? Maybe. Anyway, completely solo this time.
