The Weathermakers
The Weathermakers are a blues band united around harmonica player Jakub Jiaxis Svoboda, active on the Czech scene since 2012. All the time since its foundation, it has maintained its characteristic slinky style, complemented by a vintage sound and an unorthodox approach to the "classic twelve". In addition to the EP Dnes! (2017) a total of three albums: the debut Old Folks at Home (2012), the concert All the Suns We Ever Saw (2014) and the current The Weathermakers (2022). Their songs are characterized by dark urban poetics, with musical overlaps into rock and alternative, which is the responsibility of the charismatic guitarist Pavel Ostrý.

Jan Fic
The Brno-based singer-songwriter JAN FIC may have emerged from the blues background, but over the years his work has completely freed itself from genre schemes without losing its firm anchorage in musical roots. Already when he became a laureate of the prestigious Blues Aperitif competition in Šumperk, he already had a very unique vision of an author's song, which he fulfills both musically and lyrically, which is confirmed by the award for the beauty of words, which he received from Radio Proglas in Brno. Although Fico's songs often talk about the dark side of human behavior, they are deeply experienced by the author, but sparingly they also offer positive ways out. Jan Fic has so far released three solo albums - Město (2018, self-published), Potom (2020, Indies Scope) and Homunculus (2023, Indies Scope).
