THE BLACK CITY (Italy)

Fantastic funk & soul quartet from Turin, Italy (guitar, saxophone, bass, drums, three vocals, frequent use of multiple voices). The band was formed in 2015 as an international lineup (currently an American, two Italians and a Cuban). An excellent Cuban drummer, holding a machine rhythm, a reliable bassist, a skilled saxophonist and a small guitarist who conceived his style as a mix of the guitar playing of T-Bone Walker, Frank Zappa and Freddie King.
