The Dark Blue Festival, named after the song written by Ježek, Voskovec and Werich, belongs to children and young people who instead of being guided by sight are led by music. This 27-year-old festival breaks down the invisible barrier between the world of the fully sighted and that of the visually impaired. It offers a glimpse into the world of those who can’t rely on sight to get by. It helps overcome entrenched ideas, removes inhibitions and stimulates interest in a world wrapped in cloud: a dark blue cloud.
