Moravian-Slovak Suite, Op. 32 (1903) is one of the most popular songs of Czech music, Vitezslav Novak fascination by picturesque, but distinctive regions of Moravia (Slovácko and Horňácko). In five paintings he captured the lives of local people in the 19th and 20th centuries. Symphony based on Impressionist approach, while reflecting the then tendencies new perspective on preservation and development of folk art.
